How I Turned $79 Into $237 in 6 Days with Meta Ads for a Pressure Washing Business

Updated: 4 days ago

The Problem:

A small pressure washing company needed more customers but only had $7-13/day to spare.

They weren’t getting enough leads from referrals or word-of-mouth.  And they previously tested running ads on Meta with zero success.

So I offered to build a campaign that would get them booked, fast!

The Strategy:

I launched Meta Ads campaign targeting homeowners within a 20-mile radius.

The first version of the video ad produced no leads after $34 spent. The video generated a lot of views where plenty of people watched 100% of it.

The start of the video, first 3 seconds, made them curious so they kept watching.

It shown everything my client was doing and cleaning.

Had testimonials and other things to build trust within local community.

And it had an offer and call to action.

But, no one was filling out a form yet.

I paused, reworked the offer, and launched two variations with different offers and clearer value.

By $79 total ad spend, we had 2 leads. One of them booked and later paid $237.

Above you can see the conversation with a customer, they booked a job and later paid £180($237). The client followed up on some leads but didn’t chase all of them.

The Results

  • $286.53 Total Ad Spend

  • $224.19 On The Winning Ad

  • 22 Leads in 21 Days

  • 1 Booked Job for $225 after 2 leads, and paid after the service was completed

  • Average Cost Per Lead on the winning ad: $10.19

In just 21 days, the campaign generated 22 verified leads, all at under $11 each.

Some days were run on as little as $7/day.

⚠️ Note: Meta Ads Manager only tracked 15 leads in the dashboard.

However, the actual total from Meta Leads Center is 22.

That’s why the platform’s “cost per result” is higher than the true cost per lead.

This was with a client who didn’t follow up on most leads.

So he left a lot of money on the table.

5X Return?

This campaign worked, even with a limited budget and a follow-up system that wasn’t fully dialed in.

With a tighter sales process, this campaign could’ve easily produced 6–8 booked jobs and 5x+ ROI.
